Café Formaggio News:
The owner of Café Formaggio, Vincent Barbieri, was invited to
the Jacob Javits Center in New York City to be a part of the
“International Restaurant and Foodservice show” on Sunday March 3, 2013.
Café Formaggio will be one of the few restaurants on Long Island that
have been chosen for this honor and this will be the start of Café
Formaggio taking part in “Restaurant Week.” With the growing concerns
of maintaining a gluten free diet, Vincent’s work and dedication in
providing guests with a wide variety of gluten free appetizers, soups,
entrees, and desserts has sparked a huge flame in the gluten free
community bring in guests from all over the Island. This event will
demonstrate the actions, planning, and attentiveness that Vincent has
given in the past few years in regards to building, maintaining and
continuing to grow a vast array of gluten free items. Having started
with a simple gluten free pasta to now serving as many as fifty gluten
free dishes we are honored to be a part of and recognized for our work
by the restaurant industry. Lastly we would like to thank you, our
customers, for continuing to support us and spreading the word to the
